New, Larger Carrier Transicold Service Centre Opens in Germany to Better Serve Refrigerated Fleets

Carrier Transicold’s service, assembly and repair base in Leipzig, Germany, has moved to larger location in the northwest part of the city. The new location in Polyphonstrasse (formerly Pittlerstrasse) is close to the B6 trunk road and offers excellent connections to Leipzig Airport, the Schkeuditzer Kreuz interchange (A9/A14) and Leipzig’s industrial areas in the east and south. Carrier Transicold is a part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), the leading global provider of healthy, safe sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions.

The new service centre includes a much larger 665m2 workshop, with a spacious yard outside providing additional parking for customer vehicles. Staff will also benefit from the site’s modern and spacious offices.

We’re delighted that we now have the room for more service bays and extra parking for customer vehicles,” said Torsten Maier, Manager, Leipzig Service Centre, Carrier Transicold. “We are also looking forward to extending a warm welcome to our customers in our newly furnished reception and waiting area.”

Customers can expect the same high-quality installation, maintenance and repairs for refrigeration units, ensuring vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum.

“Our goal is to make sure our customers can rely on accurate temperature control from their refrigeration units, meaning their goods can be delivered on time and in optimal condition,” said Maier. “To help achieve this, we will also continue to operate our fleet of service vans, which carry out maintenance and repair work on site at the customers’ premises.

The new service centre is part of Carrier Transicold’s truck-trailer network of more than 600 sites across Europe, with customers having access to Carrier Transicold’s 24/7 OneCALL™ technical hotline.
