The deadline to submit abstracts for the well-known international conference Gustav Lorentzen on natural refrigerants (GL2020) has been postponed to February 15, 2020. This one is going to be the 14th edition of the conference and will be held in Kyoto, Japan, from 6 to 9 December 2020, at the international conference centre.
Experts, researchers, engineers and policy makers are invited to participate to the discussion on the latest advances in the field of natural refrigerants.
The conference will promote debate on research topics covering fundamental studies (e.g. thermodynamic properties or heat and mass transfer), developments in the domain (e.g. heat pumps and chillers) and their applications.
Kyoto is a key-location for the fight against climate change: in 1997, the Kyoto International Conference Centre hosted the third UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP3) where the Kyoto Protocol to counter global warming was adopted.
Today, Kyoto is regarded as the cradle of the planetary endeavour against global warming, and the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (JSRAE) is proud to organize the 2020 edition of IIR-Gustav Lorentzen in such a historic city.
Abstracts can be submitted online by February 15, 2020, 5:00 pm (Japanese time).
