AHRI – Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute – is pleased to announce a series of five webinars on various aspects of flammable refrigerant research, to be held each Wednesday between September 23 and October 21. To date, the research has informed technical updates to safety standards that will enable compliance with global regulations that phase down the use of high-GWP refrigerants. This virtual forum will build on material covered in the Flammable Refrigerant Research and Planning Conference held in October 2018, examining research in collaboration with Department of Energy, California Air Resources Board, ASHRAE, AHRI, and others.
Manufacturers, channel partners, policy makers, fire service personnel, and building code and environmental experts are encouraged to participate. The free sessions will feature panel discussions and presentations from industry experts, including principal investigators on flammable refrigerant research projects. Registration for the first webinar is now available. Additional webinar information is below:
Webinar 1: Air Conditioning Applications
