Efficient Energy, the Bavarian tech pioneer for sustainable refrigeration technology, was last week awarded 3rd place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 ranking. With this award, Deloitte honours the tech industry’s top-50 growth champions based on their percentage increase in revenue over the past four financial years. Efficient Energy’s growth exceeded 2,000 percent over this period. The company’s proprietary developed Bluezero® technology was decisive for this success.
Efficient Energy’s eChiller refrigeration units have made the enterprise a pioneer in the field of climate-friendly refrigeration technology and are driving a historic transformation of the refrigeration market towards environmentally friendly alternatives.
The company’s eChiller products incorporate Bluezero® technology which lets water be used as a climate-neutral refrigerant, thereby entirely avoiding the need for environmentally harmful F-gases. At the same time, Efficient Energy’s technology enables substantial energy savings, allowing customers to benefit from significantly lower electricity costs. The technology is ideal for cooling data centres and server rooms, industrial processes, machines and in technical air conditioning. Not only are legislators worldwide demanding the switch to environmentally friendly alternatives; operators, too, have recognised the future viability of the technology and have brought the company rapid growth over the past few years.
Efficient Energy GmbH CEO, Georg Dietrich, accepted the award on behalf of the entire team in Berlin and is delighted to have been recognised for the company’s performance at the prestigious Technology Fast 50 Award. “Over the past four years, we have succeeded in establishing our eChiller model series in the DACH region and in winning a large number of prestigious organisations as customers. We’re currently expanding our product range to make ‘water as a refrigerant’ available for even more applications. We’re also growing our partner network across Europe which will further drive growth,” Georg Dietrich comments.
“With their products and services, the winners show how innovation and entrepreneurial success can be combined. Their success gives cause for optimism for Germany as a tech location,” says Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Industry Lead Technology, Media and Telecommunications at Deloitte.
