CAREL AT MCE: INDOOR AIR QUALITY, IOT AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION

CAREL, a multinational specialising in control solutions for the air-conditioning, refrigeration and air humidification sectors, will be exhibiting at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2020 with the claim Better control, better environment to emphasise how the two axes guiding the growth of CAREL’s solutions are inseparable: higher unit and system performance for a lower environmental impact.

“Our constant investments in Research and Development amounting to around 6% of annual sales are focused on the continuous improvement of our solutions for both air conditioning and refrigeration”, commented Roberto Sandano, Group Chief Sales & Marketing Officer – HVAC. “The claim Better control, better environment is intended to state just how closely connected these two concepts are for us: optimisation of our solutions must translate into an increase in energy efficiency. If we look at the systems we sold all over the world in 2019, we can calculate that we have saved the planet the equivalent in CO2 emissions of 20 trips to the moon”.

On the leitmotif of energy efficiency, many of the solutions exhibited at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort see CAREL present for the first time together with the companies it acquired at the end of 2018, Recuperator from Italy and Hygromatik from Germany. Indeed the integration of these two brands means CAREL can offer its customers integrated solutions and a more flexible and complete proposal. CAREL’s solutions also reflect its constant attention not only to technological evolutions, but also to our different partners. “Every customer has their own needs”, Sandano continued, “and our task is to provide solutions that simplify advanced technologies, so that efficiency and performance optimisation are within everyone’s reach”.

In Hall 22, stand A31-A41, the CAREL proposal will be organised according to three main themes: Indoor air quality, System integration and Connectivity. “We do not intend to simply exhibit products, rather we aim to provide our valuable expertise and experience to help customers choose and better manage our solutions for air handling in terms of safety, comfort and productivity”, Sandano concluded. “We are aware that in commercial buildings the air conditioning system accounts for most of the energy consumption: optimising operation of the overall system is the main way to increase energy savings”.
