Beijer Ref‘s subsidiary, Fenagy, has entered into an agreement to supply a 3,3 MW heat pump, based on the natural refrigerant CO2, to Sdr. Felding Varmeværk. The order value corresponds to SEK 20 million and is the largest order ever for Fenagy, as well as Sdr. Felding’s largest investment.
Fenagy’s heat pumps can deliver at high capacity and efficiency. At the same time, Fenagy offers a flexible solution that is easy to adapt to the customer’s requirements and wishes.
The heat pump, which actually consists of 2 heat pumps, can supply 1.65 MW heating per unit at 0°C ambient and is Fenagy’s largest model in their product portfolio, ranging from 0,3 > 1,8 MW.
Christopher Norbye, CEO Beijer Ref, comments: “We are very happy and proud of Fenagy. This agreement is proof that they have both competitive and efficient heat pumps. At the same time, we can see that the market for environmentally friendly heat pumps is opening up in other European countries, where they also encourage a green transition. Fenagy is a company with great potential and their product range of industrial CO2 heat pumps is a good complement to our OEM offering.”
