Beijer Ref expands its footprint in Oceania

Beijer Ref has entered into an agreement to acquire all the shares in the New Caledonian HVACR distribution company, Froid et Clim Distribution (FCD).

The company’s equipment is sold through several channels and their main applications are for supermarkets and central kitchens. FCD, which was founded in 2014, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 20 million, and consists of two branches and five employees. FCD has a profitability that is above the general earnings in the APAC-region.

Froid et Clim Distribution will be integrated into Beijer Ref New Zealand’s current organization and the acquisition will have a minor impact on the Beijer Ref Group’s result and position.

Per Bertland, CEO Beijer Ref, comments:

I am very pleased that we have reached an agreement to acquire Froid et Clim Distribution. Beijer Ref have successfully sold its products to the Pacific Islands, and we are very much looking forward to establishing a presence in New Caledonia. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity for us to provide additional support for our OEM products, which is a segment that is growing.”
