In recent years, advances in the digitization of refrigeration and air conditioning have been enormous and have a great impact on the efficient operation of facilities. In addition, technologies such as artificial intelligence are entering strongly into areas related to the preparation of future refrigeration technicians and equipment maintenance. For these reasons, specific training was necessary and AEFYT, Association of Refrigeration Companies and their Technologies , launches its first course “Digital transformation of refrigeration and air conditioning” . The course will last 16 hours in total and will be held from the AEFYT virtual platform between February 1 and March 1 over three sessions.
The objective of the course is to spread the new digital technologies that affect refrigeration and air conditioning, differentiating some technologies from others and mastering the characteristic language of each of them. A very important point is that students will be given the keys to know the possibilities that digital transformation technologies open up to the sector and to understand the need to update and incorporate new professionals specialized in the cold sector . To do this, Isidro Villarroya, manager of Automatiza and technical computer engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, who is an expert in digital transformation, and who will be accompanied by Félix Sanz, attached to the management of AEFYT, is available.

The course is aimed at design engineers for refrigeration installations, managers and heads of human resources in refrigeration companies, heads of engineering, qualified installers and those responsible for maintenance and safety of refrigeration installation.
